Alignment

Got some LSR +2+1 arms and rods and am trying to align my front end and have been fighting it for hours. How in the hell do I get  them aligned and straight? One top arm ball joint is unscrewed farther than the other to help with the tire stand straight up but that can't be my issue. Any help would be appreciated

No the frame is pretty straight. My problem is i will move them to where they look straight from the front, then when I sit on the seat and look at them they look either toed in or out. I was thinking of trying the whole string attached to jack stands and wrap it around the quad. String barley touching front of rear tire and measure between front tire and string on front and back of front tire. If that makes sense? Or if anyone has any better ideas?

Camber: the wheels should be at -1.0 to -1.5 camber, and this needs to be set first.
Then set toe, shock cord wooden furring strips horizontally to the front wheels, sticking out the front, further is better. set toe so strips are straight out the front.
both should be set with rider on board.

there are lots of set up instructions on line.

Could they be from a 400ex and being your using 250r spindles it’s sitting funny?I had the opposite happen to me with a Gibson front end.I didn’t know it called for 400ex spindles until I did some googling..I was trying to set it up using my 250r spindles.just a thought..

For it's day, the TRX 250R front suspension had lots of travel, but like most all quads, has a ton of bump steer. You must set the front end with rider on the bike

It's all 250r front end except for the shocks are 400ex. I think I will try the string and jack stands method first and go from there. Thank you guys

I have fought with front-end setup more than anything on my quad. It's really frustrating to me too. I had to step away and clear my head multiple times. It sucks

Here's what I use as a guide for front-end setup:

Camber was the hardest for me to set.
