New Post - Return to Thread or to Board Where Post Was Made

All - want feedback on this topic.

When you reply to a thread, current handling takes you back to the board in which the post was made.

The previous vBulletin installation would take you back to the thread in which you just replied.

Which do you prefer?  I like the current handling, but I also liked seeing/confirming my post was made in the previous vBulletin.  I can set this globally for everyone, AND users can change their preferences on their own.

Thanks guys I agree.

I'm going to make this the default setting for everyoneIf anyone wants to change this back they can do it in their profile by unchecking the "Return to topics after posting by default" option found in the Profile --> Modify Profile --> Look and Layout or by clicking this direct link http://www.forums.trx250r.org/index.php?action=profile;area=theme

If I'm understanding your question correctly......when I hit "Post" to submit my reply to a thread, I'd like it to take me directly to my new post.

I think that's what everybody else is saying, but I'm not sure what is meant by "taking you back to the board where the post was made"

What the "board"?

Thanks for bringing this up Clay.  The "board" is whatever you entered the thread from (i.e. the Lounge or "Unread Topics" page).  This was the previous handling (which you can change in your own personal Profile settings above).
