Nice job on the conversion Richard. It looks like it came from the factory that way.

Thanks, Kevin
I can't take credit for the engineering though. I actually bought part of a kit offered by Farr-offroad. It's a company in Canada that has complete kits for the conversion for the Pilot and the FL350.

raced an FTZ FL350 w/ NOS set up like a mini sprint for 12 yrs and seen just about every creation under the sun, most never worked well (sled motors, streetbike motors, etc) except the cr500 topend, that guy gave me a run.. but that set up even LOOKS like it'd work, haha. Very cool!!

Here are a couple of videos after I first got it completed. I'll post more videos of my first trip with it to Sand Lake later.

One of the videos of the first trip after the conversion. My wife shot the video with our GoPro from her Banshee.

Awesome!! Man, that sure puts the originals to shame. Pretty sure I can say I'm glad you never showed up with that, haha... You would clean house if you flat tracked that thing. Best conversion Ive seen anyone do yet

It is night and day different from what it was and It wasn't stock when I got it. It had a pipe, power bloc clutch, V-Force reeds and actually I was a little disappointed in it's performance. Even though it made the FL350 we had seem like a total dog. It rips but I'm still fine tuning it, it taps out on the top end too soon so I'm working on the clutch set up to get that dialed in. But make no mistake this thing is an absolute blast!!

Honestly I don't know. I've only had it out a few times, I did go up against a built Banshee over labor day at Winchester and he did get around me. Still trying to dial in the clutch set up.

This thing is cool realize it's old thread. But a pilot is on my bucket list. Now I know what motor to use once I get there

Seeing this pilot in person was awe inspiring. The coolest part was that Richard's wife was driving it like it should be driven & at full tilt boogie it sounded as cool as it looks.

She told me she she hadn't gone past the throttle! I would say different seeing her rid a dune with the front wheels in the air

Hey bud,
I have the same set up with a 670 rotax on a fl400 that I got from Farr...
Currently having carb problems it shotguns the tailpipe when we accelerate ...
Did you have any adjustment problems...?

Never had any carb issues. What carb set up are you running? My set up is the Seadoo jetski 657X with dual Mikuni 38mm. Are you sure its the carbs? Is your rotary valve set correctly?
