he weights in at 150 but he wears riding boots and neck/body protector so that has to add at least 5 more lbs compared to the typical drag guys just in tennis shoes.

I think it takes a special rider for those trikes not sure he would take to it right away, but he rides a dirt bike so who knows.
Anyone looking for a great builder I highly recommend the following.
For CP products dealers I would recommend:
Arlan at LED(site sponsor), Pete Schemberger at Hybrid Engineering, Mat Shearer at Shearer Custom Pipes, Dennis Packard at Packard Racing, and Nate McCoy of McCoys Peformance.

Other great builders I also would recommend: Neil Prichard, Jerry Hall, Bubba Ramsey and James Dodge.

Very true about the trikes. I'm at 170 lbs and still chasing that record for 0-380cc , but its hard to find a lighter jockey for the trike. If things go well at Phil's I may shoot for the pro sand race at sheltons ky. track to see what we can do. I believe it's still standing at 4.23..we're not far away.

keep chopping away at it, you will get there but you know like the old racers saying " it take 20% of your time for the first 80% and 80% of your time for the last 20%"

who holds that 4.23 record? was it franks old 295, I think that ran some 4.2's in gilbert a couple years back. I thought danas 370 went 4.1's too but maybe not a track on the list?

The current Pro sand drag association record is 4.23 from je motorsports out of Texas. Franks old record i believe was for planet sand not pro sand drag association and I think he also  ran a nitro mix to get into the 2's which would not qualify for a record at a psda event.
