I might get a newer one to ride around as a second bike to ride with my young son when he starts to ride.any of you owned or ridden one of the newer ones Are they any good??

I haven't ridden one but rode at the dunes with a guy who had one.  I was envious of how easy it got around the dunes, like he was barely cracking the throttle.  I had to ride WFO.

ive ridden one out in the dunes... the bike is very comfortable!! but I think its a lil top heavy.. all the raptors seem to be top heavy... that could just be me thought... but other than that its a very nice bike.. easy to ride has great power... if you put a pipe, programmable fuel controller and a good set of paddles it will be a pretty fast bike!!! good luck man

My buddie rides on in the trails it's pretty sweet. Lots of low end grunt. I'd vote it would be a good choice u can find used ones for around 3k by me at least
