jcsoo3 wanted to see some sprocket guards developed. This one for the front is to be used if you do not have an OEM sprocket cover. This is a 3 1/2" stainless steel cover made of .o6o" thickness. There is a 2" diameter aluminum spacer behind it to keep the chain from hitting the guard. This was just a quick Prototype. Was not sure if adding in speed holes was going to be all right. Will ad some speed holes a little later. This is just an idea. Wanted to know what anyone thinks should be done.

So that would spin with the sprocket? Seems like you'd still have to worry about catching a pant leg in between that and the chain. What about integrating one with your case saver?

Yes, it would spin. But better than having nothing at all. Making a complete guard like OEM is alot of work = alot of money.

And yeah, speed holes for the win. Make it look like a 6shooter cylinder.

Not for me, these seems even more dangerous than the exposed chain sprocket

Could be, that's why Rupp250 is getting a free set for product development. With speed holes I might add.

Are those supposed to bolt to the sprocket hub. You replace the sprocket hub bolts with longer ones?

i believe so. i never seen one other than in pics.

Here's a picture of mine. It's on both sides but they do make them for just one side.

What kind of bolt is used? Do you have a pic of the other side?

I'm at work till tomorrow morning but ill take some detail pics tomorrow. It's a Allen head bolt that's recessed into the pâté on the back.
