If this idea doesn't work, I may have to take you up on that offer. Thanks

I really like the look of these disc guards and sprocket guards. But.......If there is even the slightest chance(there usually is) of a rock clobbering my expensive swingarm I'm covering it. As much of it as I can. It is possible to make a skid plate too strong though. It's important that the guard gives a little(bends) in order for the swingarm to survive rock hits and not crack. I'd go with skid plate mounts since you're welding something on anyway.
This is all just my opinion(based on experience)and you can flush the toilet now and it will be gone. haha

i dont like skidplates. they often get hung up and become mud and sand shovels. the sprocket guards are the best solution in my opinion.

Being from So. Cal I haven't had to deal with mud much, just rocks. I see your point. I did get to watch a guy pound his bearing carrier out with a 2x4 and a BFH after he hit his swingarm on a rock and dented it tho.

Of course my old laeger swing arm would have mounts for the rotor guard....

So got the skid plate mounts welded on.
