The ignition adapter is coming from Dasa, going with the non-adjustable one. Cover will be done by my machinist. Seems as though this ign swap died off some time ago, but since I have a complete setup with Vortex 10 way box, I might as well use it, same with the crf cam.

for TT it will work well ...defiantly not something for the trails as it will stall easier, but from what I've been told you will like the acceleration the lighter flywheel gives,

but as far as the crf cam its more a decent MX cam... it might not give you what you want for TT

Yep, kinda like the cr250/250r swap..lol... Yeah even stock 450r flywheels needs helps in the woods, but a Rekluse clutch fixes that problem

You might not like a Rekluse running TT.
It has been some used, but was a few complaints with different things mentioned.

Plans have changed, this will be a mild Xc build with the parts I just picked up. My oem 86' will get the TT treatment as I will be scoring some parts for it, old school tt build. Anyways, the Xc setup will include the lt stage 4 Elkas, Houser swinger with Houser xc link and the Hipers. On the look out for some +1 lt xc arms. Atv Four Play soft bars already on the way, and working on a few other small parts. Top end a cylinder tore down already, bottom end has less than an hour on new oem crank and bearings. Baldwin 14.1 piston and exhaust. More details on head and cam to follow. New timing chain and gaskets just came in at the dealership also!

Quick pics of a bare bones harness in the making. First pick is about 95% of what I will remove. 2nd pic is where I quit for the night, there are several wires I will remove out of the cdi connectors and seal up. If you look close someone used a Scotch lock to tap in a kill switch. DONT EVER USE SCOTCH LOCKS FOR ANYTHING!!!!!   Worst wiring invention ever, poor connection, corrosion, etc. These have caused me headaches for years in the automotive field due to lazy people trying their hand at wiring various things.
Back to the harness, this was a spare harness from a buddy that had a melted reg/rec connector, which will be eliminated along with all lights and the fan. I also found a bunch of wires cut/taped in a bundle back towards the reg/rec, not indivually taped either. Its amazing this harness came from a running quad.

Houser has sold, still have some parts from it, as well as my oem 86' frame. I will start on the 86' early this summer. I have already started collecting parts for it..lol
Bought a set of Laeger arms and unknown brand skid plates yesterday, ordered new white 08' oem plastic today and some more oem parts that I needed.

I remember seeing a sweet build like that recently. It had gold wheels on it, hmm, who's was that...
