Got any tie rod anti seize tips and tricks

Maybe it's just me but it never fails that at least one of my tie rod ends becomes seized to the point where I destroy something trying to loosen it up.  Please share your secrets....

Vise grips under the top of the boot (close to a arm)
1986 R
260cc oem cylinder
tc ported
38mm as carb
boyseen reeds
Ohlins front shocks
redone oem rear shock
93 pump fuel
cool head inline temp gauge

Cool.  What about breaking loose the lock nuts (tie rod and tie rod end).  I always assume I'm turning them the wrong direction but I think I got that down by now.  I never fails though that at least one side or the other won't release causing me to adjust toe by removing the whole dang tie rod assembly.

i use anti seize with copper in it. its pretty hard to find i got mine when i used to drill wells
