I hope this explains what has to be done to shocks that were built for another application. There's quite a bit that usually has to be done to them to make them right.

Very cool Andy!! People should also watch the video about taking measurements before sending shocks in for valving, help get away from the generic term of "What weight are the shocks setup for" when buying used.

I need to send my shocks in, but I'm afraid of the price. I get quotes, but they don't sound, for sure. "If we have to replace this of that, it will be more".
