So i never really payed attention to my bottom frame mounts and never realized they are oblonged quite a bit and i am wondering if i should make new ones and cut the old ones off then tig weld them back on or is this not a big deal im kind of thinking it is.theres a picture of bolth sides. And i dont have a head mount but could that have caused this. I plan on making one.

Yes it’s a big deal.....get a Pumashine kit. Loose motor mount bolts....most likely all of them.
Head stay....some run them some don’t. I’d for sure run one on a stock frame at least to tie in the upper frame rails

You could also just TIG a washer to the outside of the mount, measure the OEM mount thickness, and get a washer that is thicker. Look at your swing arm mounts, Honda did the same thing from the factory, and they work good.

I’ve got a set on my wall of destruction in the garage. They were welded real well with a washer but it will crack eventually. The puma shine set worked excellent for me. Pretty sure they are stainless and slightly thicker.

Dang I didn’t read real well that’s the bottom mount obviously. My frame cracked there and one mount was completely missing. Cost me a new frame shipped from Oregon. Gusset kit would be a wise move.
