I've been meaning to Take the bracket and design it up in 3-D Autocad and send the file to Jeremy Nelson - Nelson Precision Manufacturing & see if he would be interested in making the brackets that would bolt up to the 250R standard Brake support and allow the CR twin piston brake caliper to be used.....I should have some time soon to do this.....stay tuned.

Look no further my friend

450R Rear Caliper - Any Year
450R Brake Stay - Any Year
450R Disc Hub - Any Year
And 450R brake disc of course
2 washers to space out caliper (see picture)
OEM 250R locknut will work

I think the whole operation cost me $125 at the most

Front and rear, do the 450R brakes fit the 250R right away?

I got this: https://www.ebay.com/itm/yz125-yz250-front-brake-caliper-yamaha-oem-2005-2018/192455448779?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&_trksid=p2060353.m2749.l2649

this is the same mount as the yz400 caliper on my 250r.  some machining is needed.  FYI; 250r calipers are going for $250-300.  F that.

I’m using the full 450r setup with the exhaust spaced over some. Works great and cheap. Also Glenn innovation makes a caliper bracket to use with 450r caliper and rotor without any other mods needed. Something to consider.

Im using this same setup.  I wish it wasnt rotated towards the back so far.  I am unable to run 1 of my pinch bolts for the rear carrier.  But it is nice having a 450r caliper rolled back.  Just needs to be about 1/2 way between stock and where Glann has it.

I didn’t think about that Kyle, but that’s a good consideration. I could technically make those brakes if people were really interested. For now, my 450r set up is working well. I just spaced my silencer out so it wouldn’t hit the caliper.

all that is needed is a new bracket cut on a laser.

I am just slotting the holes on my 250r bracket and clearancing the  yz mount.

Where is yours located?  Mine is rolled so far back that it wont hit the silencer or anything.

Morning Jon. I meant Jon Langman. He was in the works with NPM to make a rear caliper mount. I was wondering if he ever got that going
