I read those too. Pretty amuseing. These are restored seats not repos. The auction states he will repair 2 rips up to 2" long. For that price I could find a dam good OEM.

I'm starting to think that the Black OEM replacement seat on Ebay might just go for $750. I can't get the reserve to pop and I'm getting to "Gods sake" numbers....LOL.

OMG - He had to SPELL it out for me but yes!!! I was so caught up in the moment that his remark boiled me over before I collected myself. I mistook the JK icon for JERK icon. I fired back but at that point I was like,... I'm just gonna take the high road and not make a mess on the .ORG site. I GOT PUNKED by atvmxr! Very funny looking back at it now. The thing that bothered me about the seat guy is that I've grow to love the R community and truly place value on the respect you show one another. The way that guy conducted himself and the fact that he was selling R parts didn't sit right with me. The bright spot in all of this is that it gave atvmxr a prime opportunity to prank me and the dialogue that followed certainly provided a good time for those following along...LOL.

Back to the original subject, I'm intrigued if he can actually patch/repair torn seats. Price is ridiculous, but I wonder

He definitely has the rear warning label down to perfection. The last R seat I saw he listed was a pristine '89 for $750, but at close look it was on an '86-'87 pan. Oops....??

I'm not sure what he does that he thinks is worth $750!

But I can tell you, I now have 2 seats re-done by Cosmic Quads right down to new foam and they do great work at a fraction of the price that clown is expecting to get.

Difference is, he might get a customer at that price....once..

Cosmic Quads gets alot of repeat business... And no, I don't have a personal vested interest in Cosmic.. They are just good people (He is a member here and on the 3 wheeler boards) that do excellent work.

Would there be any type of legal action could be taken, like if you was to post that response he sent you on E bay for all to see.

That is kinda like, I have my stuff listed on the internet to sell, but first, come here & let me slap your face if you ask me any questions.
I got no use at all for people like that guy, like everybody in the world owes him something or dont bother him.
