Author Topic: Liking Posts? (Read 5535 times)

Maybe I'm doing something wrong or maybe it's my computer...I can't seem to utilize the 'thank you' 'like' 'dislike' things at the bottom of posts. I do notice that when I mouse over it, it says something about javascript. Is this dependant on java? Maybe I need to change some settings somewhere, but I can't seem to get it to work on Chrome, IE, or my Ipad.

That functionality runs on Java. I clicked each one of the options for your thread both in IE and Chrome and they work as expected. You may wish to check your browser settings and/or update to the latest version of Java.

Uh ok...I'll check my java settings. I've got some software on my computer that might be disabling it to some extent. :fighting0085:

Had nothing to do with Jon, its just a software learning curve. Who would have know there was a mysterious chat box bandit? Its hard to control problems you did not know existed. Jon has put in many hours into make this site a great 250r forum!

I too have issues with the like button on IE. However i only really try it on my work computer on a terminal server.

Anyone having issues using these functions - I recommend looking at your computer settings since it's not an issue with the forum.
