My Wife is complaining about bump steer..

I have works shocks on mine, (nicer ride than stock), I hate those type of tires she has on her bike, I find the plain ole pro track radials, (I am talking rider  quad)
to be the best, IMO. I have smooth buff on the drag and the sand will steer that bike, I have ridden other bikes that have tires like hers and they are harder to steer.
If it was me, I would try different tires, that may make all the difference that she needs.
This way she can whip the bike around (yes I understand that term).... lmao!

Women riding R's are sooooo much cooler than the guys! :P

Silverlake is a tore up mess,  worse sand dunes in the country! She deserves a stabilizer and antivibe.
It goes fast over bumps too!

I'm concerned my wife's going to have the same issues with tracking rut's on her 86 so I did what Rupp250 did & got in on the CCP stabilizer group buy. I've never rode a quad with a stabilizer but I rode a buddy's cr250 desert racer that had one & the difference in control was night & day.

Definately a stabilizer and anti vibe bar mounts. I put a 7 click adjustable stick stabilizer and a set of FLEXX bars on an antivibe mount, and it like BUTTER! Best change I have ever done!

Well it looks like i have a ton of options to try, i will swap her tires out first, see if that helps. Then ill be looking to buy stuff.

Dan- i already tell her to just ride pinned always, but she says she does lol. i didnt have a bump steer problem when i rode it lol.

It's may not be a bump steer problem it's your tires being forced to turn when hitting big ruts. Doesn't matter if your running 18's or 22's the truck ruts are to big for our tires. You need to slow the force of the run down.

Regardless of what it "actually is" I have no problem on it and can hold it pretty straight the entire time, however it's nothing like my roll/axis front end and beats upmy arms a little more.

Most of your issue is the offset. Anything without 4/1's sucks compared to 4/1's as far as feedback through the bars. People ask me why I never have had a stabilizer, but I don't see the point, can hold the bars one handed through bumps and all, tracks so well, and the same was true for my Roll arms before switching to my Lobo.

Right, i definitely saw the difference from 3:2 to 4:1.5 on my Roll arms. But marc we are also men, and going a ton faster than my wife does, so a stabilizer for cheap may not be a horrible idea for her. We will see though.

I've never had ribbed front tires, would dual rib tires "hunt" less? I know dual keel skis do.

Better for her to complain about bump steer, as opposed to other "issues". Lol
