I have had two sets of the newer Maiers, one piece and two piece. No issues, fit good and look good too, much better than they used to be!

The only thing I've noticed is that the kickstarter doesn't line up perfect. I have an older set though maybe this has been fixed.

I was pricing a set of maier race cut one piece front fenders a couple weeks ago, the cheapest I found was through Rocky Mountain ATV.

Yeah they have come a long long way from the old DROOPY EARS style!! Lol, used to have those too, looked like half melted polaris scrambler plastics!! But hey, back then there wasn't much choice. No internet back then!

I have a set and plan on buying another soon. RM is def the cheapest plus you get free shipping. I liked the old style low profile rears since they don't flop around, but they are no longer made and they don't have that traditional R look(which I do like).

Pro:  they still make plastics for the R and probably will for a long time

Con: not fullbore, but the new ones are a very good quality from what I've seen, and I'd fullbore doesn't do runs anymore then maier will be getting my money as well

I have the cheapest ones if anyone is looking for one piece race front and rears. Have a new set sitting in my garage, installed but never ridden.

The only downside I believe to maier is the mounting is not oem quality.  The rear is pretty flimsy and will flop around if you don't get the brace in there right.  If you race cut the bottom of the rear it is better but that could be improved.   The advantage is that they are one of the only ones besides laker still making full fender plastic.

JMO, I never was a fan of Maier. I like OEM with a raised scoop on front. Always liked the Lakers but they don't have the little side vents like OEM and look a little plain in that area. I had lakers on my LTR,450r and two 250r's they are built good.

I have wrecked a few times with my maiers and no cracks. Bent stem, broken seat clip and broken carbon hood but the plastics hold up damn good! I just crashed 4th wot a week ago today and they didn't break at all. Will be buying again. Also mounting is fantastic
I ride PINNED! Therefore, no bdt in this household.

My set didnt fit very well. I have to push my fronts around to get to line up. My scoop doesnt line up anymore with the front fenders. My rears are pretty floppy even with the brace. They look good when they are one but kinda a pain to get on. I think I would buy fullbores next time around.

I just bought a full new set of fenders, head andradiator shrouds for my ATC 250r and I think the quality is really good! I would definitely buy another set if I had too!

I've had good luck with the one-piece front and standard rear fenders.  The quality has come a long ways since the older versions and it appears to hold up well.  Here's my 88 cheapo-cruiser with trimmed blue Maiers.

I also built "knobs" to allow quick release of the front and rear fenders, without any tools.
