I'm doing these as well as the CCP stabilizer for my play bike. Hopefully this won't tire out my arms as much.

This makes me wish I hadn't just purchased a LSR bar mount.

I wanted to try the Shock & Vibes out too. There are a lot of guys down here racing XC that run the Fasst Flexx but no one runs the Precisions that I could ask about comparing to. I'm sure at some point this year I'll end up with a set. I'm running a stick stabalizer with anti-vibe stem and shot filled bars at the moment and it works really well. But at 37, anything I can find to help make it through the 90 minute XC races faster would be awesome.

I just checked out their website & noticed the only stock stem listing was for an 88. Does anyone know if these can be used on the 86-87 stem & still be able to use the stock headlight?

You have to slide these clamps on the bars without grips/etc. They won't fit on flexx bars

Been running a set of the Precision clamps on both my race quads now for years, plus I own a set of Flexx bars. The Flexx bars were ran then for a while on my backup 450R, now they are on my 250R. Kind of hard to explain the differences, guess the easy way out is the more aggressive I ride, the more I prefer the Precision clamps. Just out for a trail ride, I prefer the Flexx bars. I only really notice the benefit of the Precision clamps while standing, but I feel the Flexx bars while standing and sitting.

So could these be used with a LS anti-vibe stem? Or only with stock stems?

When you order them you can get them for either an antivibe or stock stem. If you get the antivibe you will need to get the rubber bushings and washer from LSR($30). For some reason precision will sell them with longer posts but they don't have the bushings. I run the clamps on my Laeger antivibe.

So Doug, in your opinion, do you think the Precision would work better for XC racing? More aggressive, choppier ride and all.

I don't have stock stem or anti vibe. I have a +2 eyeball engineering stem and like stated above, you just have to specify what stem you have. Bar as well (7/8" or 1 1/8").
