Round 2 of their Beat the Heat series night racing is this Saturday. If the weather holds out I'll be there. This will also be a memorial race for Austin Mincey, he was killed almost 2 weeks ago now in Indiana at a Loretta Lynn Qualifier at the age of 14. They had a big memorial practice yesterday and Vurb Moto came out to help. Check out this link, bike riders or not that is impressive and for a great cause.

Here is moto 1. Made a lot of mistakes but rode decently I guess. A rock got caught in my rear caliper or something because after the one corner it wouldn't pull. I jammed on the pedal a couple times and it let free but I lost a lot of time.

Look like a solid ride with just a few mistakes, Zack. But hey, who doesn't make those, atleast from time to time! You were fairly aggressive in both motos. You were taking no crap from any of them! lol. I approve! You seem to have some of the same challenges I do. The 4 strokes slow down quite a bit in the sharp turns, but blast out of them pretty well. I don't know if you are able to or not but if you could come into the turns just a bit hotter, you might be able to carry some speed and come out of the turn just a bit faster. Also, look like you came out of the gate a bit slow the second moto. Not trying to criticize by any means! Lord knows I have no right to do that with my mediocre skill level. It also looked like the track was a quite a bit rutted come that second moto.

Thanks everybody!

Ryan- I hear what your saying on the starts. The main reason is I'm trying to "ride" out the clutch so it doesn't wheelie so bad. It doesn't seem to help that much because as soon as I shift to third it pops right up and stays up like in the moto one start. Ya I need to work on my corner speed. I come in pretty fast now but my exit is pretty weak. If I end up going the hybrid route here in the next week or so that might all change lol.

I doubt it will happen now. The guy that wanted to buy my R is flaking out I think so I'll be sticking with the R. I was going to buy a hybrid from a friend of mine.
