Northwest Best - Quad Grudge Racing

New drag racing Venue at Albany Motorsports Park (Oregon) is the Northwest Best - Quad Grudge Racing.  8-8 was the 2nd event, 3 hrs tnt, then its on.  You can find information on Facebook with rules and the list.  Overall, 2 stroke, & 4 stroke top ten list.  Congrats Sean Ortiz, let me ride his Puma to the #8 overall  & #7 - 2 stroke list!!!

Well we had a hell of time with the puma, got a ghost in the electrical system causing grief.  List got all shook up with some no shows, new call outs, etc.  Honestly don't even know how it shook out for sure.  
Put the kill on with the DMX, but 2,3,4 were no shows (you can miss one event without loosing your spot) & #5 declined my callout (legit rule).  So with only the #1 spot at the track, (got to be 2-5 to call out #1) the DMX was done for the night.  On the upside, had the fastest pass of the night.
Ran DT few times, got a decent ET, but lacked the 60', track just wasnt' there, too dry, not enough resistance.  Got worse as the evening went on.  

Looking forward to the next event.

Kind of weird how they can decline a call out. Is it because you are #7 and jumping a spot?

Callouts are due the Sunday before the event.  You can challenge someone at the event, however they do not have to accept.  It has worked so far quite well with lits if races.  Noone has declined a challenge unless they were going to make a challenge themselves.

One of the biggest races of the year starts thurs or Friday in Kentucky.  Pro truck nationals combined with the Pro Sand Drags Association.  Little Sandy Raceway I think.

I just looked it up and you're right it is this weekend. It's about an hour and a half away from me but if I get time I'll definitely go check it out and take some pics.

Next Grudge run is week from today, Sept 26.  Sean & I have been called out at the #10 spot on the overall list against the #2 Raptor.  Should be a tight race!!.
