First ride on a track ever

First ride on a track ever, bike needs some jetting and suspension tuning and adjustment on the rekluse, was my first time on a track and  on the yfz,  slipped off my peg and hurt my ankle a bit early in day but turned out fairly good, cased the triple at the end and crushed my nuts, just bought a puck stabilizer to try out next time and know what to expect and need to lug a higher gear to clear the jumps, go pro does no justice, looks slower and smaller.

I wouldn't be too hard on yourself about it. Your first time out on an mx track can be very intimidating. But you had fun and made it through the day without hurting anything too bad, that's a good day!

You should get some nerfs asap. Its the nature of the beast your foot will come off the pegs now and then plus it is needed in case of any contact with another quad. Most tracks require them even for a play day.

Thanks guys, ya i am buying some nerfs asap and also bought a ccp stabilizer last night, i had fun and not gonna worry about the bikes around me next time. I dont think i did to bad for never really jumping a quad in the past and never on a mx track before,  i think next time i will be able to lug a higher gear and clear most of the jumps, just not knowing what the quad was gonna do... Or break, whole new front and rear end i installed my self, top end, valves, fci intake, rekluse, boyseen quick shot 3, bunch of stuff, proud of my work and how it preformed

Hell yea man! Track looks mellow and fun to cruise around on, I wouldn't worry about the bikes just ride your line and hold it and they will go around. Its good to be aware of where they are but don't ride trying not to get in there way or you'll never relax.

Gonna be a couple weeks till i make it back so have lots of time to tune my bike, wish we had a dyno close to do a few runs to dial in the jetting. Also have to get my new front rubber installed and drop my ride height a bunch.

Thats a cool track & it looks like perfect riding weather. Your going to love the ccp stabilizer. I just put one on my R & it's a completely different bike. The front stays where I put it & gives me much more control. I run mine on position 3 but a yfz could require different settings.
