Hope he didn't get hurt at all but that guy tomahawking after the jump was quite comical.  Crazy riding is the most fun, can't be too afraid to get hurt as long as you don't hurt someone else!

Where do you ride? It looks Austin is pretty dry for riding. Was checking craigslist and there are very few sport ATVs for sale. MX, trail, off road...?

Best regards
-Jason

im near Houston.  I ride all over the place near and far.  havent made it to marble falls but its on my to do list.  several magazines have called it a top ten riding spot in the US.  check out riderplanet for places to ride.

Googling Ronnie mac didn't fully explain it but those videos were hilarious .  I just googled squid - I grew up pretty country so it describes a lot of my family's traits.  I think my dad taught me how to shoot while holding a beer in the other hand.

Yeah luckily he didn't get hurt! Not sure how but he got right back on and kept riding without any aches or pains..... Although he does wear a helmet now and bought a. 250r so he can have some suspension lol

squid is used more by the street bike guys. A squid in the dunes to me are those people that wear full motocross gear (look like a pro racer) but dont know one thing about riding; but they think they do. The guys that are always in the wrong gear, redlining and hauling ass inbetween parked trucks, not looking out when turning, always in the way of drag races going on. We have a lot of those here in EP. Damn kids dont know anything about off-roading they just come out to drink and litter and endanger everyone else.

I knew exactly what a squid was thank you.  I've seen a couple of them turn into a squash(a vegetable basically). Some didn't make it, plus I had quit having respect for my bike and was out riding to fast constantly. That's why I got out of streetbikes for awhile(back riding them again). I'll agree with a lot of those things, but never understood why people tend to wear less safety gear at the dunes, espec with all the rails and utv's out cruising the dunes.  90% of the time when I see squids, they are either on streetbikes or quads. Not so many on dirt bikes anymore, but they are out there.

We called them posers. I feel weird just jumping my bike and riding to the bathroom from my camp without a helmet
