Yeah that washer with the boss on it is for mounting the TM designs chain slider to the swingarm. You have to drill a hole in the plastic chain slider and it will screw into the winger itself, its just a little tricky lining up where you drill the hole! Sick build by the way!!!!
 Thanks Higgy

Thanks for clarifying Higgy. When I ordered the slide n guide kit they told me to put the slider on and just rap it with a mallet to make an indent of the boss on the back of the slider and then drill the hole. The one's I was more concerned about were the ones in the last few pictures a couple posts up. I was going through all of my parts like, uhhhhh I don't have anything that goes there lol. Got all of my bearings in. Going to try to get the rear end done tomorrow but it's cold as hell outside so I'll see how long I can survive. Does anyone know the torque specs for the bolts in the cr500 linkage?

Going pretty smooth so far except I'm an idiot and forgot the steering stem collar.
Alot of people don't know how hard it is when the bike is all apart to get all the parts the same color together in one spot. Your lucky if you only left out one piece. Hopefully there was enough powder left over to get that part done. (And all the rest you might have missed) Looks really good. You know were all wishing we could do an aftermarket build.

Thanks for the kind words Tony. I'm pretty hard on myself so when I screw up I get frustrated. Good news is that we had the collar in stock at work so I got it and put it in no problem.

I'm really happy I put those stickers on Steve. I think I'm going to put my other two on the swingarm if there is enough room between the carrier hole and the linkage hole.

Just an FYI for people doing a rebuild or resto. RMATV has a ton of the OEM parts in stock for the R. I try to use as much of the OEM bearings and hardware as I can and so far they have all been in stock. As some of you know I'm a manager at the KY location and I'm not trying to sway anyone to buy from us. I just thought it would be helpful in the future.

Chain slider, swingarm and axle in. Picking up some misc hardware tomorrow and starting to tighten stuff up. Bad news on my tie rods that came with the aarms. They must have been for a narrow chassis because they are way too short so I'll have to get some made. Another set back but it's starting to look like a R a little more each day.

Not much more progress. Bumper and grab bar on. Tie rods and a couple hardware pieces should be here Friday to finish the linkage and start the front end assembly again. Rear end just needs tightened up but it's together. Set one of the nerfs on to see how it will look.

Just noticed no rear motor mount by the swingarm. Is that normal for these frames?

Edit: I looked a little harder and found it, just the lower one

Ya it's there PNW. I've noticed a lot of the Laeger frames do not have the crossbar mount in between the vertical frame tubes that goes through the back of the cases. I'm not sure why though.

Thanks Jamie. Not too much progress lately. Still waiting on some things to come in before I can go further so I've been polishing and painting. Painted the spindles and front m/c. Polished my hubs and got the front end together minus shocks and lines. Still need to polish my nerfs, throttle cover and front m/c cap. Cylinder should be back from Neil soon so after that motor goes in.

Got the motor in today and a few misc things. Some of you guys might recognize the old school swingarm decal.
