Howdy Andy Well my shocks measure 16.5 inches. I don't suppose that extra 1/2 inch will make much difference What an inch of lift on the front?
I guess that is significant. But do you think an adjustable dog bone is the way to go? Because I heard that all they do is get longer to lower your rear end

I would recommend against the adjustable dog bone as it also changes the progression on the rear shock. And .500" in front shovk length will raise the frame approximately 1.00" with the same springs, which is huge.

I would have to completely map it out on my linkage program to see what it would look like. But I would have to get an entire bike in the shop first to measure everything up first

Well go ahead if you want to I'm sure there are a lot of people who want to know I know I've
been wondering about it for a long time Ever since I bought my frame. Like I said this is the
first one of these I'm building But thanks a lot for the info you've given me I really appreciate it.

Andy, I am courious about how these changes would be noticed by the casual trail rider? Also have you done calculations for a 450r swingarm on an R frame? I know that is for another thread, but courious?
