So I finally got my trophy from 2014. A 3rd place overall finish. Not too bad for missing 3 races. Got some more goodies from the banquet (new handlebars, hat and goggles) and also won one of two hand-made quilts that are given out every year.
Can't wait for 2015 season to start up in March! And running a new 310 PV cylinder this year so I'm very excited!

Thanks guys. I really appreciate it. Looking forward to this year a lot. Got a real fun bunch of guys in my class. If anyone is ever in the Dallas/Fort Worth area, please look me up or shoot me a PM and come on out to a race. Once you get your feet wet, you'll wonder why you didn't do it sooner.

Congrats on that racing year finish & saying from somebody has a lot of years behind them, that hand made quilt has got to be the best ever, because it takes a lot of time & a lot of love goes into making those.

So very true Neil. They are a very coveted prize at the banquets. The owners mother and aunt spend 2-3 weeks at their ranch every February working on the quilts for that next season's banquet. This one has pictures of helmets, riding pants, gloves, goggles and boots on it. Very cool and very happy to have won it. Unfortunately you can only win one once. That way everyone else has a chance to win one at some point.
