Wondering if we could start a list of porting specs. Might help some of us understand it better and give us a reference database.  I realize Some builders might not want their specs listed for public knowledge.  So if u and ur builder don't mind, please share.

For example

Stock porting 1xx exhaust, 1xx transfers, etc.
Mx porting 1xx exhaust, 1xx transfers, etc.
Tt porting 1xx exhaust, 1xx transfers, etc.
Esr trx7 1xx exhaust, 1xx transfers, etc.

Getting some guys to post their engine specs may be like asking for him to post naked pictures of his wife.:unconscious:

Ha ha. That's what I was afraid of.

What about just general rule of thumb for stock, Xc, mx, Tt, drag, etc.

i have no problem telling people some of the stuff ive done on various engines. unfortunatly i wasnt very good at keeping detailed records of alot of the changes i made. one of the first port jobs i ever did was nothing more than just pulling random numbers out of my ass. ported a couple more cylinders for that engine. going off old memory because i didnt keep very good records but the last cylinder for that engine as i recall was either 192 or 194exh at 90% width with staggered transfers. seems like one was 126 and the other 128. then stacked a couple base gaskets so i could change the angles, pretty sure the rear was 10* and front was either 20 or 25*.  lately been working on adding tripple ports to oem banshee cylinders, along with using some special parts in the bottom end. its a one of a kind engine with a mix of stuff from honda, suzuki, ktm, arctic cat. not wanting to give specifics on this one right now but perhaps at a later date maybe.   it should be stronger and more reliable than the common 4mill hotrods setup that 99.9% of everyone else is doing. mainly i just wanted to do something different and better than what you normally see. fooled around alittle with some old ktm junk but honestly ive gotten away from the large CC stuff and focused more on smaller engines. my attention span isnt very long so next year ill probly be up to the eyeballs in a different project. might pick up a cheap 80cc bike off craigslist and do some work to it. them little screamers are fun to ride
to much power is almost enough
