Need help locating or finding equal spring
« on: January 24, 2015, 05:39:51 PM »
I just put a gold valve in my rear shock and according to race tech's set up I need a spring I can't find.

They recommend a srsp 5524 series with a 6.13kg rate. As I understand the table it is a 55.9mm i.d. 240mm long with a 6.1 kg pr/mm

Race tech has a 5.6kg and a 6.4kg but nothing in the middle.

Any help is greatly appreciated

I looked through the motorcycle catalog and the power sports catalog and the measurements are all O.D.

If anyone has an eibach spring part # for the 250r I may be able to start there and work backwards till I find the rate i need

I put eibach spring on mine as well. If you give Andy at maul tech a call, he can tell you what spring you need and he sells them.

Check with Evan at Schmidty racing. He is in Visalia so shipping is quick. He just did my fronts and rear for me.
