Any oil work.  Even castro 927.  Rem oil for cleaning guns really brings out the colors...

Thanks for the compliments fellas but unfortunately im planning on using this arens frame for now. My mind is still set on a all flat black with carbon fiber parts. Would like to redo it later with a LRD black anodized frame if i can find one. Took this quik pic before i hung it up on the roof as i have no room in my garage for all these projects im working on.

Help me beat up on Arlan for some stainless pipes. I was fairly close to talking him into it. I have the raw pipe too. They are fairly easy to care for, a little scotch brute and oil, but it does lose to heat tells, which are the sexy part of a raw pipe, in my opinion. Stainless would solve it.

What happened to the LRD frame? I thought you had one.

Best regards
-Jason

ive thought of clear coating the pipe before i use it so maybe it can keep its colors. Dont know if hi temp clear paint or powder coat clear will work.

I still have my LRD frame but i let a buddy borrow it and hes going to get it fixed for me. While he was using it he noticed it cracked a little more so thats one reason i dont want to run that frame with this motor. Other reason is i plan on doing everything black so it would be stupid to powder over my chrome subframe. I tried trading subframes with Higgy but they were not interchangable.

I had my bare HPR zilla pipe high temp clear coated before I used it. But it is rusting underneath the clear somehow?  Didn't work out for me but maybe it will work out for you......but you can't beat the look of a bare pipe!!

LED had a shop put hi temp clear on one of their pipes. Never heard how it worked out. I'll keep begging for a stainless.

i think i like this cover better than the Hinson style cuz right now i have 3 stripped bolts on my CT cover. The cover is real tight i dont see it leaking easily. i started hitting it with a rubber hammer then i gently pried it off with a screwdriver and my fingers
