What are you guys using for long travel a-arms? I have the Laeger specifically but they are all about the same with the recessed bolt holes on the bottom a-arm. The problem I'm having is finding a bolt that fits and also one that I can get a socket on inside the tube as well. On the bolt head I can use a allen instead of a socket but that doesn't help the problem on the other side with the nut. I do have access to a machine shop and could turn down the nut so it was small enough. I feel like I'm missing something very simple here lol.

Thanks guys. I figured out the head of the bolt with an allen like you all suggested. The problem was the other side with the nut. I couldn't get a socket on the nut inside the tube. I ran up to the store and got a M10 shoulder bolt down to a M8 with a washer. I'll post a pic tomorrow.

I use 300ex Oem a arm bolts. Then use 250R Oem a arm nuts. Both are 14mm socket. You might have to hit the flange with a grinder for just a sec depending on what you have on your a arms.

Sounds like you need a flange nut Zak.

Thanks Steve and Ryan. I'll try those if this doesn't work.

What GRADE Shoulder bolt did you buy ?

Looks like a Grade 5 or less (mild steel)

You might want a Grade 8 or better if you JUMP with your quad!

:)

Langbolt- I told him to give me the strongest one he had and he said they were grade 8. They do look weak to me though. We have plenty of the 300ex a-arm bolts and 250R nuts in stock here at work so I'm just going to buy a couple and if they work take the shoulder bolts back. Thanks for the help everyone! The joys of putting together a custom quad!

They work great, I just put them in my front end.
