Anyone have one of these? Do the knobs back themselves off and get lost during ride?

I have a couple of Pumashine seat latches and have never had one of the knobs loosen up.

On a side note...if you do not tighten them down do not expect them to stay on there. Vibration and gravity will pull them off in 3 to 5 minutes. Did this with my OMF's a couple weekends ago. I did find them a few feet away in the parking lot.

I've been running the newer knob-less OMF latch for a few years now and no issues even after many rough rocky XC races.

I have pumashine's latch and it is top notch. I have been through a hand full of rides and one XC race and have not have the knobs fall off. Tighten them enough so its squeezing the rubber a little and they can't come off

Those pin style in the pic look pretty cool. I was just trying to keep the price down. Replacement knobs are $7. In a pinch you can use a 5/16 course nut with a washer to secure in place. I have an LSR pin style I have never opened if you want one. Making the pin style with the machine work would add quite a bit to the cost. So I have just went with the twist knob style. I have cut a few hand knobs from 1/2 aluminum to thread. Drilling the small hole and spring will be next on the list of things to do.
