That's too cheap lol! Or are you saying $2.50 is what it costs you for 1 min of cut time?
Right, just cut time. You will see that drilling and tapping the holes will take some time. Then you have material and plating.

Carlos sent me a clamp to copy, bless his heart. The ring I came up with in my head seems to match the BDT clamp within .005". I will proceed to refine the part and get some of these made up for those of you that do not want to line the pockets of the olds sites 250r salesman.

No , the guy on the other site was or is offering billet hose clamps. Looks like they could be water jetted.
Yes they are waterjet cut. My sample has terrible edge quality. So the outside has been extremely sanded to give it a machined appearance. :Boobies2: But the inside is a waterjet cut. Don't know who said they were billet but that is:lies: if they are saying it is machined from a solid chunk of aluminum.  By definition. A billet is a solid block of aluminum (or any material) with the size depending on the size of your desired part. The larger the desired part, the larger the billet. Contrary to casting, billet parts are created by removing excess material from the billet, essentially the part is carved out of solid aluminum. Both parts above were cut from a sheet of 1/4" aluminum.

I guess you really can't tell but there is no adjustment on these. If it does not tighten up its useless. I was thinking the little one I made was to large. But the one I got from BDT was .010" bigger. I hope all the inlet and outlet barbs are all the same size. I can see this not working if the barb is too small. I am  ESR's barbs are on the big side.

in order to make them able to tighten down a little more (be a smidge more adjustable) u could just make the gap between the top two tabs where the bolt goes through a little larger
