Hey guys love the website. Been doing a lot of research here so decided to post up my build. The bike started out as someone else's project that had a lot of nice parts. I sold most of them and started to rebuild it to my specs. Running a ct 370 engine with a Roll front end. The rear is setup for a custom built 18" axis shock. I built a new upper shock mount and modified a +2 lone star swinger. Still have a lot of work to do. A lot of things are still in mock up but this is what it looks like as of now. Plan is to ride it on New Years.

Looks like a zilla boot off the carb. Seems to be a lil adapter in-between.

Ok talk to us about the rear shock mount modifications, looks like you fabbed up completely new mounts on the frame and swingarm. Your shock angle definitely doesn't resemble a no-link

Awesome looking build so far

What do you me resemble a no link? I'm not sure why others run such an extreme shock angle. At full bump the shock should be at 90 degrees to the pivot point. Otherwise the shock is to big imo. And you are not getting any better performance laying it down. With my setup the angle increases slightly as the suspension compresses. Adjustable upper and lower mounts would nice though.

I have white plastics and a carbon fiber hood. Also should have the wheels and tires done in a week or so

I just meant the shock isn't at such a severe angle like on mine. I like the way you did it, makes it much easier to use a standard air-box

The airbox is pushed back pretty far. Just over the seat latch lol. Will have to do something so I can get to those pins. The zilla boot worked perfectly for me. I definetly got that idea from here. Would way rather relocate the airbox then have to build that part.

How much wheel travel will you have? Laying the shock over by mounting it towards the rear of the swing arm allows you to gain ground clearance. Not having anything hanging below the swing arm helps us woods riders.

I'm just jealous you get to keep your airbox without modifying it.  Looks good!

Very nice build bud. I love that your doing your own fab work. Wish I had the knowledge and tools to do so myself. What airbox are you using? I have a stock right now for my build but like the look of the one your using.

It has about 12" to the bump stop. Nothing crazy just some good usable travel but thats another reason adjustable mounts would be cool to have.
