The more vertical the rear shock the better. This resembles a Cr500 linkage or any modern dirtbike rear shock set up.

Well didn't make my deadline. Trying not to rush this but I only get maybe an hour a week to work on it. I put the plastics and wheels on to see what it will look like. Just need to find time between other projects and work to finish.

Esr covers

And my Duncan/Roll banshee I'm rebuilding for the tenth time. I have another one that I built with a custom front end and is going a compete different route. So this one is going back to how it was before. With a fresh look.

Both bikes look great!  What front tires are you running on your R?

Thanks man. They are 22/7/10 maxxis razor. Had them buffed into a Mohawk for the dunes. Wanted something a little bigger and stronger then what's offered. So that's what I came up with.

Rear wheels also custom made at 5" wide. Gives the paddles a little more bite in the sand.

Bro I absolutely love what you've done with both quads especially the R. CUSTOM NO LINK mount looks great. The white plastics and carbon parts are sick with the beadlocks all black wheels. And cut front razors is something I haven't seen before. Genius man. That R is one sweet quad. Congrats

Just a question on your no link set-up.... Did you slow the rebound down on your shock?....I would think you would have to at the angle your running it at to calm the pogo effect.... By having the shock angled the rebound tends to push forward on the quad more than up....That being said if you have the rebound dialed you should get some awesome traction as well as not having to run as stiff of a spring.... Keep this updated I'm really curious as to how this works for you...Awesome build by the way!

Looks great!!

Do you have an air scoop for the right side of the radiator?  How tough is it to remove the keepers for the seat pins?

Nice - they look killer and like you say, probably get a bit more carcass thickness.  At first glance I thought they were Cascade Innovations "Cutters" http://www.cascadeinnovations.net/store/store_View.cfm?STORE_AREA_ID=12&store_dept_id=72

Thanks!! I saw yours it's just as nice. My next build will be all red with 89 plastics. Was the original plan.
