I posted about it a week ago, trying give people a heads up. North shore drag racing has been doing it for three years now.

Sure is. The mid to top end is crazy. Pulls so hard. She beat my bro's jerry hall lt 500 dyno'd at 75hp and I think I was a little lean, highest jet I could find was 220 still a little a learn, she ran good but would fall on face until 1/4 throttle. Never got hot though.

How does this sphinx compare power wise to your last one?? Not reliability, we know where you stand on that...Lol I was curious if your first sphynx was as quick..

Starts first kick, power wise, double the pull of the coc motor, with better top end.

This sphynx would stomp my other sphynx. The mid to top is the big difference.

Does it seem rich or lean where the hesitation is below 1/4 throttle?

It sounds like you have the wrong needle in the carb and may need to change to a needle that has a steeper taper so that the needle is smaller near the tip. The flow area, at full throttle, between the tip of the needle and the needle jet is very close to the main jet flow area.  When these two areas are close to being the same, changing the main jet does not change the fuel flow appreciably at full throttle.  When I have a Keihin carb that runs clean when I have that large of a main jet, I make a 2 taper needle so that when I change the main jet it will make a noticeable change.

lean up hear she had a lot of bottom end, none done there.  Power would not kick in until 1/4 throttle.

I am not understanding what you are trying to say.  Are you saying it has good bottom end below 1/4 throttle in Flagstaff and no bottom end in Phoenix below?
