Thinking about running my lid, as of now I have my box open with a foam filter. Thinking about buying 2 six packs of uni vents for the lid and combine that with putting the snorkel back on. I think that combo should feed the 350 and 40.5 carb, thoughts?

Not sure, the lid opening has less surface area than the filter though.

What about those outerwares that replace the lids? That would be about the same as running no lid.

Thing is that I'm planning to do a hare scramble again in the spring(last yr didn't happen), and if there's some water I don't want my R drinking it but I naturally want good air flow

I was thinking about that but wanted input from someone who's used them in wet conditions

See if you can get a hold of Tony Kellner (Kellner motorsports). He was barry hawks mechanic. Should have an idea on keeping water and mud out. That motor wil, want as much air as you can feed it. Choking it down, you might find better luck running a smaller carb.
