I know u are set on axis but I've been switching to Motowoz and the owner Jim is fantastic so far.  Very happy with the product, set up, and customer service.  He can be hard to get a hold of but always calls or e-mails back quickly.

My friends son has motowoz on his JB Mod mini and holy crap is that a plush ride. The kid SAILS that thing and it just lands so perfectly. They are on my list...not cheap but WOW plush

Yup Jim at Motowoz is the real deal.  Running them on my XC 450 and my XC 250R this year.  Who knows, maybe i will switch the Laeger over to.

Kyle you like your mototwoz more than your custom axis

I think so.  The adjustable cross overs is a huge advantage.  It gives another degree of adjustment for me that you cant get with any other shock.  I have used it quite a bit.  I like to run my shocks as soft as possible, but i come up to tracks that have super steep faces where I would bottom out on take off, so i would have to adjust my crossover to get me on the main spring a bit earlier for more bottoming resistance.  other wise you have to crank your compression up on the shock and that just hurts you everywhere.  I like to run a soft compression setting so that it soaks up everything.

Plus Jim at Motowoz is awesome to work with and his shocks are beautiful.  I still like my Axis.  No question there.  But you can see where im putting my money at.

Does Motowoz have their own line of shocks or do they just rebuild aftermarket shocks(Axis, TCP, Elka, PEP, etc) with Motowoz components?

It's 100% their own line. All of it is manufactured in Minnesota.  The new Motowoz are also aluminum like the stage 5 elkas. Jim said they would be close in weight to the fox floats.

The new stage 3 & 4 elkas are aluminum too.
