So Doug, in your opinion, do you think the Precision would work better for XC racing? More aggressive, choppier ride and all.

For me, yeah. That being said, they are both very close. They are both slightly different, but not a huge difference. Sorry, I know its kind of vague, it is just hard for me to compare the two, just hard to explain how they are different. Really, the best way to know what is best for you is to ride both and have your own opinion. (I know, not a cheap option.) Put it this way,  if I had a set of Flexx bars already, I wouldn't sell them to buy the Precision clamps, thats how close they are.

A little update on these.  I actually noticed these working one day I slapped my front end down hard. I seriously thought my bar clamps were loose but it was the clamps dampening the blow! Being able to feel what normally would have been hard on the wrists was a true testament of why I will continue to run them. I'm just running the shims that came in them from purchase.

Much thanks for the update. I'm still looking for a pair. I'm trying to get rid of the buzz in the bars. Anything to help tame my carpal tunnel.
I hit them up for sponsorship for 2015 so we'll see what happens. I really hope to be sporting a set of Shock & Vibes for next year!

Yes, thanks for the update. I'm still mulling over getting a pair of them. They seem to be worth the money.

Quinnlt4 how are these working for you still? Anyone else have any recent experiences or comparisons with these yet? Also how tall is the mount itself measured from the base of them to the center of the handlebar?

I got a set for Christmas last year. I have been extremely happy with them so far. I been in several mx races and practices since then, and my wrists have not suffered in bad jarring since I installed them, even when bottoming out heavily. I can't say as I notice much difference in a reduction of vibration. I can't speak with experience about that because I upsized the motor before I installed them. So I have no idea how they would have felt installed/not installed on the same motor.  Overall, I am pleased.

I know the precision clamps don't come apart like normal clamps and require you to slide the bars thru them, since the flexx bars aren't a single bar the only way you could use them both is to cut the flexx bars, put them on, then weld them back together.
rablack21 Thats good to hear! I've been on the fence about these clamps or flexx bars, I do like the idea of being able to use any bar with the clamps as opposed to having to use the flexx bars. I'll be purchasing the precision clamps soon

They are still holding up great. I trail and dune ride. I don't like riding without them now that I am used to the movement. Takes so much shock out of your arms/wrists.
