Hey guys just thought I'd post up some pics of the quad I traded for a couple months back. I didn't originally build it but I'm making it my own. When I got it 1st gear was junk so I rebuilt the tranny and bottom end and got some new laegers + 2 a arms for it. I will be continuing to build this quad and figured I'd start a thread incase some people have questions on doing a similar build I'd answer anything I could. before and after pic of motor sprayed the cases with flat black what it looked like when I first got it scored some sweet roll design pegs for a 400ex for $60 that bolt right up!

Looks Great! How is the back of the motor mounted ??? I don't see a bracket between the swingarm mounts. I do see the lower mount in front of the swingarm....which moves the sprocket forward....Does the chain get tighter/looser as the swingarm goes through it's travel ? Might want to check that....you don't want to snap a chain and mess up those nice cases!!! :)

Thanks langbolt! It's got the lower rear mount but it doesn't have the swingarm mount I'm going to try and pick one up to see what I can do. Last weekend I went trail riding and the front sprocket bolt kept loosening up it actually fell off but luckily didn't break or damage cases because I was 20 miles from the truck!

But the times I went riding before that I never had a problem with the sprocket bolt but when I rebuilt the motor I never loctite the sprocket bolt so I think that's why it backed out I never had it right enough
