My 87 still appears to have the original front rims and tires, I bought this from the original owner. It will ultimately be a trail quad, currently upgrading to newer 400ex rims and hole shot knockoffs.

Was wondering if would be worthwhile to throw them on eBay, and use the money for modern tires. Any thoughts?

Original front tires for the 86-87 are Ohtsu 101. The tires you have don't look like the originals.

They are Dunlop kt781a's. Some sites say they are original?

I think Honda used Dunlops on the earlier atc250r's but I'm not sure if they used them on the trx or not, at least not on any of the 86-87's I've seen. [MENTION=24]croat1[/MENTION] probably has the answer to that.

It will be in a small circle on the tire usally 4 numbers. say 1087 it would be the 10th week in 1987
