So I've been pondering how to make this event better. For me it was enough to see more than my 250R out in the sand, but how can we get others more involved? Should we do some organized drag racing or maybe a timed technical ride? Or we could just keep it casual and have a Saturday and Sunday group ride with photo ops? Im open to suggestions and if enough people express interest I am willing to do the work to set things up. Thanks Loren.

Any of they racing stuff could be cool. Just not sure what it takes to get part of the dunes closed for setting something like that up.

Could find one of the big hills that has enough area for flat drags & hill racing & say meet here at this time on one of the days, for those that want to see how fast they are. The group meet's were also really cool & once the west coast meet starts gaining momentum it will get big. There's lots of R's that have shredded sand in our little slice of heaven. We need to round them all up. It would be cheap & easy to make up a simple flyer, copy off a couple hundred & take them to our local bike shops.
overkill is an often underrated achievement
