I got some good riding in on Easter Sunday. Hit around 35-40 miles of asphalt to all my usual spots. The R ran excellent which I was happy about. Other than running into other riders I was alone on this trip and cell phone coverage is bad in the valley.

Couple pics of the new hood. It grew on me.

Thanks Gene.

Do you guys use factory clutch springs? Mine is starting to slip. I've seen a write up around here using different plate thicknesses and such. I will refer to that thread and see if I can find the info I need.

Factory springs with washers, and a 400ex steel plate for me

Pics look awesome. That looks like prime riding territory

Myles, here's the clutch mod thread. It works well.

Awesome! I was pretty sure you guys were using OEM/OE upgrades for the clutch.

Tbone, this was just a mild cruise this go around. In my older age I am starting to take more care at things when I am alone. The hospital is a long ways away and sometimes the cell service is as well.

The next trip I will try to hit the good stuff and have my GoPro hooked to the R.

Thanks for all the help guys. I will get my clutch pulled out if I can stay off the thing for a day. Nice weather and a full jug of fuel is hard to ignore!
