Well, it seems the 400ex throttle was going to be a pain to get working properly with my PWK, soooo more dollars. Quad might as well be a stripper the way I keep throwing money at it.

Picked up another polished throttle. This time the correct OEM unit from a 250R. Same guy that I bought the polished brake setup control setup from. Not sure what he used, but it is top notch polishing. Hopefully this one last a long time. They are proud of these old parts.

The FourWerx hood has got to be the best mod I've done in the looks department. Excellent quality! Easy to see why so many people run these on their R. Hard to stop staring at it lol.

Over the holiday all the kids of my girl friend's family got their own quads (ages 4-9). It was awesome to see the excitement of a kid when they hopped on and fired up the new toy. We unloaded my quad and me and my girl friend doubled up and putted around letting them all beat me in a race. Good times!

I got a little seat time this week on the R. I'm getting back to chipping away at the small to do list I have. Yesterday the clutch cable snapped a few miles from home so I have a new one on the way as well as some rear brake pads. Next will be a poly frame skid and some tires for my Hyper wheels.

I also need to buy a factory style chain slider for the swingarm. I threw the chain off a while back due to a warped sprocket and it got in between the countershaft and swingarm and chewed the TM Designworks chain block up pretty bad. I'm really not a fan of needing to drop the swingarm to replace it. Will add a poly case saver at that time.

I added my bling to the handlebars finally. Very pleased with the fresh factory throttle. No more slack.

Bought a new flat hood for the R. Loved the scooped style, but wanted to try the flat one out as I like the original lines of the front end.

Supposedly this is the first one built by Fourwerx. It was sent to a guy for test fitment and was never used after that. I need to pick up a matching tank cover.

I'll be looking into how I want to repair my oil drain here soon. Looks to be using a NPT plug of roughly 15-16mm currently. Little things like this drive me absolutely nuts. Even when they work without issue, I just don't understand why people do things this way. I will hopefully have enough meat to work with and be able to get a proper bolt in there.
