I second that,I haven’t had him do anything  for me yet but I’ve seen his work and when I spoke to him sounded like a good guy and very accommodating.He also includes return shipping at no charge.

I called the guy. He said he would have to see it. I can understand that. He wants me to send a picture. It's been polished before. Now if i can find a way to send him a picture. I don't see how as of yet. All i need is a ballpark figure 100, 150, 200, 250 $ Anybody have a guess ? I would say 150 $ or their about, But i could be way off.

Someone responded said 100 $. Now that's very reasonable i think  Can't very well hold them at exactly 100 $ But it sounds good to me

Actually what i'm doing is a top end rebuild. I came across a stock bore cylinder that has the intake runners hogged out. Not looking for any more power. I'm at .080 " inch oversize now. Want to try this cylinder just for the hell of it. If i can get it bolted on there without breaking.  Want to stay around 67 mm.  By the way can you get oversize head gaskets anywhere ? It might end up being a waste of money, but i'm curious. Especially about low end performance. 35mm air stryker

Depends on what you want out of the polish job.  I'd use him or I use Cascade Innovations - their on-site polisher is really great (short of using say a hot rod pre-chrome prep polisher for way more the price).  Be aware that most "atv" related polishing shops will just hit the big surfaces with a wheel and you'll be left with pitting and unpolished areas on inside corners.  IF this is an issue for you, make sure to discuss this ahead of time - those little areas are time consuming to sand/polish but make a world of difference to me (and also drive the cost up).

Thanks definitely need to discuss that issue. Starting at 100 bucks leaves considerable room for negotiation. Do want it to look real good. It's not a showroom bike, But it's not a pile of junk either. I've got about 60 hours on the top end. I know that's a lot but i don't race it at all. Hardly ever open it up all the way. It still has good compression and runs great. Had to tear it down to replace 5th gear. The piston looked except for the color brand new. Not a scratch on the piston. I use that slimy crap on my air filter, looks like it works well. Don't ask me how i broke 5th gear. I hardly ever get it into 5th gear, not to mention hardly on the throttle in 5th gear. I bought this engine new Have had nothing but major problem after problem. Unreal.  But i think the problems are a thing of the past, but i'm not going to hold my breath. Yeah this engine has been a nightmare from hell. Maybe i can start giving it some throttle. Been riding this thing waiting for some other catastrophy to happen. It runs great shifts good. Got forced into tearing into it. My first time. It was a little scary but it all worked out. That's 1 good thing that came out of this nightmare, Now i know the tranny. Whereas i didn't before
