I'm looking to begin production of a reproduction wiring harness as part of a broader restoration effort branded All250R "R2".
I will provide 3 free harnesses to testers for feedback that can commit to the following requirements:
Requirements from you:
1) The harness is mounted and all electrical functions tested while riding within 10 days of receipt.
2) A photo is taken of the installed harness and emailed with your thoughts on quality, suggestions, and any issues.
3) All 3 will either be 88 or 89 style. Your stator can be converted with OE parts to an 89 for free.
4) Choose between red/black or all black.
5) The harness is yours to keep. It is branded, "All250R R2", with prototype serial number and should remain afixed in case you request support in the future.
Main quality features:
1) All precision parts are OE or OEM, Japan or US, (not fake china etc). This helps ensure that dimensions, tolerances, terminal plating are within OE/OEM specification and quality assurance standards.
2) All lengths and fitment within 2mm of OE harness.
3) Overall quality exceeds the OE Honda harness.

Black connector boot: made in Taiwan, the only reproduction part
Wire quality:
Wires have more copper than OE particularly in ignition and lighting circuits
Wiring insulator is cross linked polyethelene, more durable than OE insulation
Other quality:
No solder. All terminals are crimped like OE
All electrical joints are sealed after crimping.

OE: Original Equipment - the same part that came from Honda
OEM: OE Manufacturer - not the same part that came from Honda, but makes other OE parts.
