my R
« on: February 17, 2020, 12:32:06 PM »
had this thing for about 6 months now and ive ridden it once due to trying to do a restoration on it but then got a powder coating gun and had to do it all over again. then broke the drain plug hole. then had to rebuild the motor. needed the cylinder bored new piston new hot rods crank, complete hinson cr125 clutch,  repair the broken cases and then put it together, LED is doing all of this. but i dont have the motor back yet. and im sure im forgetting something. but i powder coated the front end red and black. i have officially named this bike Satan because the only time ive ridden it was the day before my foot surgery and i fell off and ran over my feet. and also this 1500 dollar rebuild that i will have to run race gas in.

Hey Eyeball! You mean Satin? Not Satan lol? Either way I think it's damn cool color scheme.  I built a Chevy 350 engine when I was in high school that was the same color scheme.  Good luck with the build bud

the reason i call it satan is because it because it is a pain, every time i go to work on it something else breaks and its just generally being a pain. and The Norm expect to see this bike at the winchester bay ride in august.

Hail Satan!

Love it. Other than the gas tank...because I have the same gas tank, which doesn't match my bike. So I bought a Cascade cover, which sucks. It interferes with the gas cap clearance, so I am constantly spilling gas or the cap comes loose.
Hate the tank, but love Satan.

Great seeing build pics.  I’m going to the Winchester Bay meet in August.  This will be my second year in a row.  I’m from Cleveland, Ohio

I just got back from riding a few days ago and just decided to write up. I got my motor back from LED 3 days before we.went on the ride and i got it in and it started but the next day I had to take it back out because the water pump shaft was marred up and was leaking oil from the weep hole. And Arlen wanted to see it and wanted to fix it and make it right. Anyways got it in 2 days before we left and it worked great for break in it was just running a little fat but overall break in went good but then the day after I was pretty much done i went to change the jetting and noticed that the spark plug had backed out quite a ways and so I put it back in Nd tightened it but it happened the next day too. So I started another post and now that I'm home I cant really test it other than just idling it and revving it but cant really move it under it's own power very much. I did get some good pictures though

I do need a set of black full bore plastics though or just paint these black because they are all cracked up but internally so it's just little black stress fractures all over. And it looks crappy
