CF intakes

As some will know Troy Robl was in the process of designing a carbon fiber intake system.  From what I understand the intake never came to fruition for our beloved quads (intakes are available for the Trx450 and yfz450).  FourWerx carbon took over the product line.  The 450 intakes are available from Vision Air Intakes.  They have mentioned that a Trx250r intake was in the works.

Thanks Joe.  Troy Robl did market and sell specifically a TRX250R intake.  Robl's old website had Jared's bike for the 250R product picture (see below).  I have purchased 2 "trx250r intakes" in the past - one for the Laeger and one for the OEM frame.  Jason @ Fourwerx (who bought this product line from Troy and rebranded it Vision Air) mentioned he has been working up mounting brackets so he can sell as a complete trx250r kit).  The second attached pics uses 2 ESR hangers that Pete fabbed up for me and works great.  Curious to see Jason's new mounting bracket design.

I recall seeing something from Troy where he said he found the G2? Intake worked for the Trx250R so he just went with that. I’ll try to find it.

Here’s another.  He’s using the G3 for Trx250R.

Last one.  Don’t know if Troy ever sold these kits or not.

I wonder if the old JL intake mount would work?

That G3 on Ryan's CR500 link has a bend similar to a zilla Boot.

So what happened to Troy? I know his personal life was getting busy and he sold off his Dyno. I recall he sold his line of intakes. After that he just dropped off the map.

Here’s the “mount” Jason sent me.  Basically just a slotted ESR hanger.  That’s cool but for folks running an ESR brake hanger this is redundant and means they’d have to run 2 mounts on that side rather than just drill a hole in their existing hanger.  But this would work fine on the stator side.
