$200 full front brake rebuild

Just finished the rear brakes & getting started on the front's. I figured they'd cost more but luckily just like with the rear caliper the piston's & floater pin's were all in good shape which keeps the cost down considerably. Just like the rear I got Shindy kits for both calipers & mc, oem bleeders, pin plugs & a new mc diaphragm along with new EBC pads & Galfer +2" 3-line kit it cost just over $200 for everything including a can of VHT  cast aluminum caliper paint:

Both calipers needed new piston inserts so I used the same micarta I used for the rear inserts & made 4 more:

To get the piston's out I like the grease gun method & if you do it when there's still residual brake fluid in the calipers it makes removing the grease from the piston bores much easier. I used a metal rod to get the grease out of the caliper & the last picture shows how clean the grease comes out if your careful:
