New member here....Looking for a way to get ahold of a coil mount for my 01 cr 250 coil...Trike is an 85 atc..

What size is the atc frame tube?

In the same boat.  BDT made them in the past but nothing at the moment.  I am working on a bracket now for my '85.  Will post some pics once done.

Used an ESR clamp. Ditched the square top and opted for an insulated clamp. I had to shorten to length but seems to clamp tight. Will add a small screw if it rotates but I'm gonna give it a try.

You've now ISOLATED the coil.......so you will have to add a grounding strap from the aluminum mount to your motor or you will not get a spark.

Correct.  I added one during final assembly.  These were taken before test fitting the tank and routing the wiring harness.  Made one trip to Glamis with this system and worked well, no issues.
