what do you want to know?  DMR is one of my sponsors and I've been around 50% in the loop of what is going on.  my understanding is at first Dave wants these to go to guys that actaully race.  or at least that was the plan last I talked to Dave.  which is fine with me as a race XC and MX; Im planning to run a toyger in my MX quad.
Bunch of race quads that run on premix

Does "as cast" mean it's not a builders cylinder (i.e. not mean to be ported then plated) and already comes plated ready to run?  Would be curious to see the port layouts on this vs smaller bore Sphynx's.

I got the impression it’s ready to bolt on and race as cast.  Same as the lynx.

From DMR:

I need to make this post because of all the PM i have received over the last few weeks about the Toyger cylinder. First off this will never be a production cylinder meaning the cylinder will not be sold by its self. The complete  DMR motor package which means every new part that is working correctly and has been tested for the bottom end part. The correct ignition, Pipe and carburetor. The motor will be assembled here and broke in and tested on the dyno before it ships. Why does it have to happen like this? Because i get sick of reading post from people that buy a cylinder and put it together in an incorrect manner using the wrong parts and worn out crap and all they can post about is how the cylinder is crap, so they are going to be built by the guy that designed them and knows how they should preform. 2nd I dont care if i dont sell 1 of these ever. All i care about is that everyone of them that is sold is the best most reliable racing motor combo ever built.....

Everyone will have a chance to see how the package proves it self over the 2024 season as Zach Racette Chad Smith and Jeremy Meier

will be running them in XC and MX events.

This post is going to rub alot of people the wrong way and really i dont care. It has taken me years of work to design , network , discover, test, break, make changes and test again to get to this point. When they do become available i will be building 12 a year and as i am 58 im not sure how many more years i will want to do this.

The toyger i will have at the 250R take over (mine) is a "as cast" cylinder. Most people incorrectly think that a great MX motor cant be a great drag motor.....Im sure there will be a lot of video on how it does.

Is the Toyger just all hype? Well  "You cant hide your bull shit on the track"  so i will let the motors speak for themselves.

John, if you read above Dave states that it will never be a production cylinder.  Stating 12 will be available all from Dave.  But with Dave taking 2024 off chances are slim to none to get a cylinder.  I hope things change and these become available to general public.
