Turf Tamer - Knock off's available

Well.... for anyone looking for ITP (Carlisle - Titan - DICO originals) Turf Tamers and are finding it almost impossible to locate a good set that aren't all dry rotted or cracked.....there may be a solution.

I was recently made aware that there are 2 companies that make a knock off tire of the Original Turf Tamer.....and they have good reviews.

Wanda P322 & Hi-Run SU-17 are two really close matches.

Just thought I'd pass on this info for anyone looking for them

Well I pulled the Trigger and Ordered a set of the WAN DA They're 4ply......but the knobbies don't seem very tall.....now to dig out my Tire Groover and give them the RETRO look!!

what was the performance problem these tires solved over other tires, or are you mainly just interestd in the look?

@All250R - No real performance gain over any other tire.....just going for the Retro '90's MX Atv look. I'm building a Gary Denton themed bike and couldn't find any Turf Tamers.
