And the reeds on it are also good been trying to have someone who knows what there doing to come look but can't find anyone and don't have the money to take it to a shop just want to ride the quad before winter comes around miss riding lol any help would be great thanks

It has a 45 pilot jet in it and a 162 main jet in it and I turn the gas off and it still does the same thing could have to do with the slider adjustment ? The needle position is in the center my dad thinks it has to do with the twist throttle and cable possibly? But does anyone know what the readings should be for the stator so we can test it and see if it's bad or not ? Any help would be great thanks

Yea it seems like it's getting to much fuel and spits out the front of the exhaust flange can never keep it running for more than 3 mins tops and as soon as you let off the gas it stalls out

Idk what jets are in now but I'm guessing close to the extra set I have but I have a 162 main jet and a 45 pilot jet and I haven't checked the float level yet but idk how to set those without messing it up if its not leveled

All wires and connections are good and not corroded just rebuilt it from ground up and it seems like it's getting to much fuel cuz it's spitting gas out the exhaust flange in the front and i always have to have the throttle kinda turned to keep it running could it have to do with my throttle not being right? I have a twist throttle on it

Sorry about the confusion that was just when I first bought it and cleaned it and it would do the same with a stock carb as well it's getting plenty of gas and spark plug is getting soaked but doesn't want to stay running tried jetting and setting the needle clip and no difference it just keeps flooding itself out and idk what the air striker carbs are suppose to be set at for a stock 250r
